Page 481 the book Winter of The World by Ken FoLLet question asked cold Stalin be deposed?
again the question is asked making clear the bias on page 476.
on pages 481 and 482 the assumptions are made that rather than use magnetic shields or constitutions as computer programs Russians would prefer to use nuclear fission. the woman physicist Zoya character in the book is angry that her research into fission is suspended in favour of bomb site. Zoya states it is obvious that fission will be used to produce bombs by other nations .was it really they could have used magnetic shields or constitutions as computer programs.type writers =computers.
479 contains more bias toward Stalin surprising since he would not have had anything to do with defence of Russia until Stalin Grad which was quite some time after German invasion perhaps 1943 or 44 maybe 1942. to lok for invasion as implied in the plot from 1933 would be odd.
On page 480 phrase mental break down in reference to mental break down of Stalin and his refusal to believe Germany would invade Russia.Stalin's confidence could have been in magnetic shields or constitutions as computer programs.
The capacity of nations to build jets and phone switch boards implies computers obvious.
interesting to note that 1914-1918 war ignored much the same possibilities.
